Welcome to the November edition of TO Ventures Insider! This month, I’m excited to share news about a special event I’m hosting: a graduation concert for private schools across Dallas, benefiting Make-A-Wish North Texas. I’ll also introduce a new team member joining TO Ventures and recap my experience at Venture Dallas 2024.

Upcoming Graduation Concert at Gilley’s Southside Ballroom

I’m excited to announce that I will be hosting a graduation concert at Gilley’s Southside Ballroom in Dallas for students from 15+ Dallas high schools. This event on May 9, 2025, will be a celebration like no other, bringing together the Dallas Class of 2025 for an unforgettable night of music and memories that these students will remember for the rest of their lives, as I’ve already been planning this for several months now. In addition to celebrating this milestone as one Dallas community, the concert will benefit Make-A-Wish North Texas.

We believe in the power of bringing communities together, and this event is an opportunity to do just that while raising funds for an organization that changes lives. Sign up for the waitlist at nightlyevents.com/may-9.

Team Update: Welcome, Rishab Siddamshetty

We’re pleased to introduce Rishab Siddamshetty as Managing Director of the TO Ventures team. Rishab brings a dynamic range of skills and experience to the table, further strengthening our capabilities as we continue to grow. I’ve been working with Rishab for a while now, helping scale companies and enhance our deal flow, and I’m confident he will help drive our upcoming projects forward.

Venture Dallas 2024 Recap

Last week, I attended my first major conference, Venture Dallas, and it was an incredible experience. The event was not just about networking; I walked away with several key takeaways:

First, there is a strong trend toward AI-driven solutions in almost every industry, highlighting the importance of staying at the forefront of tech innovation. Second, I learned about new strategies for structuring investment deals to attract top-tier founders while reducing risk. Finally, it’s clear that Dallas will continue its rapid growth in the coming years, solidifying itself as a major business hub. I’m excited to stay in Dallas to experience this growth firsthand and to be at the forefront of all the exciting developments happening here.

Thank you for reading this month’s edition of TO Ventures Insider! We have exciting plans ahead, so stay tuned for more updates in December. As always, feel free to reach out if you’re interested in any of our investment opportunities, our upcoming graduation concert, or just want to connect.

Best regards,

Thomas Owen
